Privacy Policy
Littal Shemer Haim’s website address is https://www.littalics.com. This website contains a description of Littal’s activities in the domain of People Analytics.
The website includes various articles and blog posts, which visitors may comment on when applicable. Articles and blog posts are distributed in a free newsletter. Subscription to the newsletter is done via site forms.
Personal data that Littal collects on her website and why
Littal strives to maintain a minimal collection of personal and identifiable information on her website.
Visitor data is collected using comments and subscription forms, as specified below (based on WordPress functionality).
Comments
When a visitor leaves comments on the site, the data shown in the comments form is collected. The visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are also collected to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from a visitor’s email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if it is used. If it is used after approval of a comment, the profile picture is visible to the public in the context of the comment.
Learn more about Gravatar’s privacy policy.
Subscription
When a visitor fills out a subscription form, e.g., on the article sidebar or pop-up, the e-mail address written in the form is collected. Users are subscribed only after clicking the activation link sent by email (double opt-in), and by doing so, they accept this privacy policy.
Subscriptions are handled via MailPoet service, where the IP address, date, and subscription status are retained. MailPoet also records behavioral data for emails it sends, such as opens and clicks. Inactive subscribers who don’t open newsletters are automatically marked by MailPoet after 6-12 months and don’t receive additional newsletters.
As of December 2020, Automatic owns MailPoet. Learn more about the Automatic Privacy Policy.
Contact
A visitor may contact Littal personally using the site’s functionality or published contact details, e.g., text message, e-mail contact form, Calendly scheduling form, or Google form. The personal information a visitor delivers via these channels is not collected on this website, although Calendly’s Privacy Note is mentioned. However, to continue a personal conversation, Littal may save and use the contact details as the visitor requested and may keep them for further customer interaction.
Non-personal data that Littal collects on her website
Non-personal data is collected for web analytics, i.e., to understand how this website is used and for good user experience.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to collect non-personal and non-identifiable information about web browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Google Analytics data retention is set for 26 months.
If you wish not to let this site track you via Google Analytics, there is an opt-out browser add-on that helps users make opting out easy and convenient.
Learn more about Google Analytics data privacy and security.
Cookies
This site may store cookies on a visitor’s computer so that the visitor’s browser will provide information each time the visitor returns. Visitors who do not wish cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using this website, yet understand that certain site features may not function optimally without cookies.
Embedded content
This site includes embedded content from other websites, e.g., Twitter and Facebook, which operates exactly as if the visitor has visited those websites. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, monitor your interaction with the embedded content, and track your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to those websites.
Chatbot conversations
As part of Littal’s commitment to enhancing user experience and providing efficient learner support, she may implement chatbots based on ChatGPT, an advanced language model developed by OpenAI. Please refrain from sharing sensitive or private information through the chatbots. Learn more about OpenAI privacy policy. Pages on this site may include a chatbot via AI Engine service, where IP address, date, time, and conversations are retained. However, the AI Engine serves as an intermediary tool for using AI services and does not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of the AI-generated content. Learn more about the AI Engine disclaimer. Nevertheless, conversations generated may be published for educational purposes.
