Happy Wednesday!

The ugly face of gender inequality revealed in Covid19 times, as women feel more burned out, exhausted, and pressured to work more. When I shared Mckinsey's research on that topic (see also in this week "Tweets and Treats"), the responses in my network varied from anger and despair to proactive conversations titled as "what can we do?". I think we should not wait for the impact of solutions sponsored by organizations' leadership or politicians. Support within women networks could be much more effective in short terms. This month's theme is Connectivity and Networks. I'll review it through the lens of Covid19 consequences.

Cheers,
Littal

What secrets do organizational networks reveal?

What secrets do organizational networks reveal?
The traditional way to study organizational networks is through a survey. However, a survey can reveal network representations only one at a time. It does not point to events, trends, and changes as they occur. It requires a tedious analysis of relations mapping. Therefore, the survey phase will probably be followed by work done by algorithms.

I was honored to be a guest of The Behavioral Sciences Division in IDF last week. A two hours session of Q&A generated contents that are essentially qualitative research on how organizational psychologists in the largest and most complex organization in Israel see People Analytics. I'll publish the results shortly and add it to this collection of interviews.
